Team HOP adds elite swimmer

The Heels On Parade brand is ecstatic to announce Grace Countie as its newest member to Team HOP under the new Name, Image, and Likeness laws that were passed last July and have taken college athletics by storm. Similarly, taking things by storm is Grace's style in the pool. Grace is a record setting swimmer fresh off a great performance at Nationals in Irvine, California. Grace recently announced her intentions to come back and compete for a 5th year at the University of North Carolina where she is heavily featured in the record books. 

At Nationals, Grace was scheduled to competed in three events and recorded personal bests in 2 events. She swam a 25:10 [second] 50-meter freestyle and finished 7th in the finals and swam a 1:01.39 in the 100-meter backstroke, which yielded an 8th place finish. 

At UNC, Grace is a multi-time All-American is one of the best homegrown swimmers in recent memory, hailing from Leesville Road High School in Raleigh. She also thrives in the classroom with 1st team Academic All-America honors. 

Grace joins standout gymnasts Hallie Thompson, Lali Dekanoidze, and Gwen Fink as well as rising volleyball star Ava Swain
