Team HOP

Four Junes ago, we made the decision to file a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark for the phrase "Heels On Parade". This June we are taking another big step in our brand and the mission to support young people and North Carolinians. 

In our first edition and release, The Heels On Parade brand is ecstatic to announce its new partnership with several student-athletes within the confines of the new Name, Image, and Likeness policy activated July 1, 2021. Gymnasts Hallie Thompson, Lali Dekanoidze, Gwen Fink, and volleyball player Ava Swain have all inked deals that will yield them royalties on Heels On Parade apparel sold using their respective discount codes. 

Hallie Thompson is a standout gymnast from Waxhaw, North Carolina. She is a an all-conference performer as well as a scholar athlete. Hallie is a redshirt sophmore at the University of North Carolina and is majoring in Exercise and Sports Science and plans on pursuing graduate school to become a Physician's assistant. Hallie's discount code is HALLIET20.

Lali Dekanoidze is also a standout gymnast whom is from Matthews, North Carolina. In Lali's is a first year competing at the University of North Carolina she accrued many accolades including All-Conference, Conference Gymnast of the week four times, and rookie of the week once. Lali also etched herself in the program record book several times. In addition, she was a two-time Level 10 national champion in the All-Around. Lali's discount code is LALI20.

Gwen Fink is another nationally recognized gymnast, who most recently placed 4th in the Level 10 all-around competition at nationals in Arizona. Gwen grew up in Fort Mill, South Carolina but trained at the prestigious Southeastern Gymnastics in Weddington, North Carolina outside of Charlotte along with Team HOP members Lali and Hallie. She has accepted an athletic scholarship to enroll as a freshman at the University of North Carolina and is expected to be a star competitor for the gymnastics team. Gwen's discount code is GWEN20. 

Ava Swain is a top-notch volleyball player hailing from the Tampa area and is an early enrollee at the University of North Carolina where she will compete for the Tar Heels as an outside-hitter. Long time coach, Joe Sagula is quoted as saying "She has a bright future," and we couldn't agree more. Ava's code is AVA20
